Practicing for the IRI

The kids take a reading test three times per year to see how many words they gain in fluency. In the Fall they need to be able to read 67 words per minute to be proficient. By Spring, they need to be able to read 92 words per minute fluently, We practiced having one child be the reader and the other child be the proctor. They did one minute readings. The kids did great and we rocked the IRI. Way to go kids!
