About Your Teacher

Melanie Parrish: Ms. Melanie Parrish was born and raised in Pocatello. She attended Chubbuck Elementary, Hawthorne Jr. High and Highland High School. She graduated from I.S.U. with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. She taught 7 years in Kindergarten and this will be her 14th year in Second Grade. She loves being a teacher. Ms. Melanie has 4 children and 2 granddaughters and one grandson who call her Grandma Melly. Her fourth grandchild is due in January, 2015. She loves Jefferson and is excited to meet her new munchkins!
