Measuring Dem Bones

In Math we have been learning about measurement.  We are comparing inches to centimeters.  We are learning about perimeters and shapes.  We measured pieces of yarn in centimeters and compared them.  We measured our ears, our noses, our feet and hands in inches and centimeters.  We also measured our bones with adding machine tape and then added those numbers together.   Each child used a calculator to figure out home many inches of bones they have.  Then, of course, they got their skeletons dressed. Big fun, great learning and they turned out adorable!
